Effective in January 17, 2010, taking driving courses in a SAAQ (through AQTR) accredited school became mandatory. This program includes 24 hours of classroom theory and 15 hours on the road practical course. The time to complete the learning process is at least 13 months, and the first month (About 5 weeks) prepares students to get the learner Licence. The sooner you start, the better it is!
PS: If you're 15 years old, you can register and start your theory classes for the Phase 1 (Module 1 to Module 4), and after your 16 years old birthday you can immediately write the exam Module 5, to get your Driver learner's Licence. By doing this, you can save 1 month.
